'The Accounts and Tales of the Evermorians and their Allies in Exile'
by Jonathan D. Cade

Part II

2.1

The Allies are now assured that no trickery concealed the death of Rovien and that it was in fact the Tyrant who perished to Flaymax's blade at High Fastnesse. The celebrations' fires slowly dim as all minds turn to the Alliance Islands of the Elves and the Evermorians still occupied by Manticore Talon Fanatics....

2.2

Manticore Troops are still holding the north of New Avmar and for now no aid has been sent by the free military on Tal Anum, or at least officially! As the War Chiefs contemplate the next step in a war not wholly over, damage assessment reveals much hardship for a direct confrontation.... Although some 800 Manticore Legionnaires have accepted commission into the newly formed Phoenix Flame Legion, under Alex Winter, Eilind has lost nearly 40% of its full military capacity and many peoples of the alliance are depleted. Dhahal has left to return to new Choristas Keep, their forces far too depleted in their on-going struggle with the Gil to donate and Garrison force and New Dusk Island still acknowledges no emissaries. In a rare and unfathomable twist after his investiture as a Choirista-Knight Dhahal has taken Edward Huntingdon away with here, away from the Islands their mind-link was created to protect.

2.3

Hawley Smoot is back, but Xxill still lives and Darkport still resides under his domination. Riots have been reported, but Smoot loyalists are quickly suppressed by the Regime. Smoot continues to gather all his loyal employees about him at hidden locations on Tal Anum. Fear of a Smoot caused civil war are quickly put down, when in audience the old Assassin assures Talia, Dochim and Geerik of Edhaal of no design of civil Empire simply a desire to win back his business empire.

2.4

Harton Maldir and his forces along with their New Gardainian forces hold nearly a third of New Avmar free, but Manticore Forces seem reluctant to press the issue and a stand off situation is occurring. William Montague is still missing his whereabouts unknown. Despite a valiant blockage just over half the Talon evacuees who made for New Avmar, when their grip on Tal Anum failed, have made it and have successfully linked forced.

2.5

Elven island is still held apparently by a Swanknight Garrison who refuse to surrender...some Ullratha from Talon are also said to have joined them. The world about is filled with darkness, but for now, despite a few Orc raids, Tal Anum is at peace and ready to prepare for the next and perhaps final stage of this conflict.....

2.6

As Autumn sets in the archipelago, adventurers go back about their business - the making of money is a full time occupation. Then as was appointed all preparation and petty dalliance desists as preparations are made for a bold party to attempt the destruction of Fane Vattar. This, as Ashurok said some ten months before, must be accomplished within one year and a day of his destruction in this age. Should any of his incarnations survive their destruction in the other Ages then the one they call Famine would be free to return unhindered to this time and place.

2.7

The mission, which shall be reported in other texts is all but a complete success, all are destroyed except a foul being called Fallen said to have resided at the end of the fourth age. A new party must be assembled and quickly indeed.

2.8

By guile the Renegade Mark D'Louve is captured and placed on trial, but also new evidence is brought that Dominus Nihil, Captain of the Pathfinders and a number of his Sub-Ordinates may also have been complicit with the Renegade, in a Conspiracy of Treason. During the trial D'Louve escapes, but the Pathfinder Captain admits his guilt and those of two others, in their attempt to subvert the Alliance Law - Galen, Pathfinder Executive and Ged, Pathfinder Scout. The other two are never found, but in an exchange of hostages D'Louve perishes to the Law and Dominus is sentenced to life on Thimbleks wall!

2.9

While the spiritual battle still wages, the Lords Temporal continue their battle and as design the first herald of this new war is a treaty with President Harton Maldir of New Avmar. Signed on Avmars soil with most Alliance Commanders giving their agreement. And so all is made ready for the final push to drive Manticores Talon from the Archipelago and one and for all exile them to the histories as infamous traitors.

2.10

Having waited for such a moment Ysabet D'Esturiens enters accompanied by Xxill and William Montague, Roviens self appointed successor. They then announce an Alliance of their own...Black Marketeers...Covert Ops...Talon Troops and now the Gil...for reasons unknown Ysabet does not mention the Gamesmen who have recently allied with the Gil!
